It’s an Old Soul, but It’s Got a Young Heart. Part 6

Perhaps it is passion that keeps bringing the circle back to into popularity. Perhaps it is a something far bigger than we can understand, but for one of human’s first inventions, the hoop has had some staying power.

From the early days of twigs and vines, on to the wooden hoops and the light plastic “Wham-O” hoops, the hoops of today are made from a heavier plastic that most people use for irrigation.  Jason Strauss posted a website that in 2001 removed the curtain and unveiled the secrets of how a hoop is made.

There is no doubt, that this simple, yet extremely informative website open more doors to those interested in hooping.  Websites like http://www.jasonunbound.com/hoops.html were extremely important for new hoopers allowing them to make their own hoop.
